Our Mission

Helping people with home inspections isn’t just about finding a house, it’s about finding a safe and secure home for them. It’s a privilege to be able to assist in this process and ensure that families can make informed decisions about their living spaces.

Why I Started My Company

In 1994, I bought a townhome without inspection, leading to costly flaws. Despite my background, I couldn’t afford repairs, forcing a sale. After overcoming setbacks, I bought a home in 2013 with a proper inspection. The process had issues, and post-closing problems arose.

This led me to become a certified home inspector to aid others.

About The Owner

My initial job experience was with a contractor in North Dakota. I started as a laborer and then transitioned into foundation work and framing. After contributing to the construction of three homes, from the foundation to the interior trim, I expanded my skills by working on the masonry side of the company. This involved assisting in building the activities center and sports auditorium at a local college, providing me with diverse hands-on construction experience.

In 1984, I joined the National Guard as a Combat Engineer on a bet with a co-worker. This role involved various construction projects for the armed forces, such as roads, bridges, and buildings. Initially trained as a crane operator, I later pursued education in electrical work at college, complementing my construction expertise. This combination has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of construction techniques and electrical systems and design.

My unit was involved in overseas construction projects in the Marshall Islands and Panama, presenting challenging yet rewarding experiences in diverse environments.

Besides my construction training and experience, I have a strong background in aviation as a commercial pilot, certified flight instructor, and helicopter mechanic and crew chief. Trust and meticulous attention to detail are crucial in all these roles. It’s the small details that can make or break a project. Therefore, focusing on the details is paramount.
