In 1994, I bought a townhome without inspection, leading to costly flaws. After overcoming setbacks, I bought a home in 2013 with a proper inspection. The process had issues, and post-closing problems arose.
This led me to start my own business as a certified home inspector to aid others.
Helping my clients in my business as a home inspector is about looking at the details of a house. As a Home Inspector it’s about finding a safe and secure home for my clients. It’s a privilege to be able to assist in this process, ensuring that my clients Understand the report and can make informed decisions about their living spaces.
After high school, I started my construction career in North Dakota. I worked as a laborer and advanced to foundation work, framing, and masonry. Additionally, I contributed to building homes and a local college’s activities center and sports auditorium, gaining diverse hands-on experience.
In 1984, I joined the Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer. I worked on construction projects such as roads, bridges, and buildings in the U.S. and abroad, including the Marshall Islands, Panama, Honduras, and Guatemala. While initially trained as a crane operator, I later specialized as an electrician, combining my construction and electrical skills.
Moreover, I have a solid aviation background as a commercial pilot, certified flight instructor, and helicopter mechanic. My focus on precision and attention to detail is crucial, ensuring successful project outcomes.
